After the sale

A difficult start shows up in the daily work.

The proposal is signed. Now your team is chasing inputs, repeating instructions and sorting out expectations. Those moments tell you where the onboarding needs attention.

The handoff leaves things unsaid.

Sales has one version of the promise. Delivery has another. The customer has to explain what they bought all over again.

Getting started takes too much chasing.

Access, answers and approvals arrive late. Your team keeps following up while the customer waits to see progress.

The work is happening. The value is hard to see.

Tasks get checked off, but the customer still asks what happens next or whether things are on track.

Every new account needs the owner.

Routine kickoff questions become escalations. The process depends on someone remembering to step in.

The C.L.E.A.R. method

Make the next step easier to take.

We look at onboarding from the customer's side as well as your team's. C.L.E.A.R. helps us examine the decisions, requests and support that carry the customer toward the result they bought.

  1. Clarify the promise

Turn the sales promise into a shared definition of success, clear responsibilities and a next step the customer understands.

  2. Lower the effort

Examine forms, access requests and handoffs. Make it easier for customers to do what the work requires.

  3. Enable the first win

Choose an early result the customer can recognize, then work backward to the actions and support that make it possible.

  4. Advance independence

Give customers the guidance they need to move forward with confidence, and make it clear when to ask for help.

  5. Review continuing value

Build in useful check-ins so your team can see progress, notice stalled customers and plan what comes next.

An illustrative starting point

“Send us everything” is a hard first step.

A long request for files and access can stall a new account. Start by identifying what is needed for the first useful piece of work. Explain why it matters, who should provide it and what happens once it arrives. Make later requests when they become relevant.

How we can work together

Start with the work your onboarding needs.

The discovery session helps us understand your situation. If further support makes sense, we can discuss the right scope before you commit to an engagement.

Onboarding Diagnostic

Understand where progress stalls.

Examine the customer experience after the sale, identify gaps and decide which changes deserve attention first.

Onboarding Transformation

Improve the process with your team.

Translate the priorities into clearer handoffs, customer requests, first-win milestones and ways of working your team can use.

Ongoing Optimization

Keep improving as you learn.

Review what customers are doing, where support is still needed and how the process should change as the business evolves.

Scope, timing and fees for paid consulting are agreed after we understand the work.

The right practitioner for your business

Start with us.
Work with a partner who fits.

Our consulting pathway is designed to connect businesses with premier partners in the Practitioner Network. We begin by understanding your onboarding challenge, then identify the expertise your project needs.

A considered introduction.

As the partner lead program opens, we will refer suitable enquiries to qualified practitioners based on the work, their expertise and availability.

A clear next step.

You can discuss fit and scope before committing to an engagement. A future partner directory will also help you explore the people available to support your business.

For people responsible for delivery

You have customers.
You want a better start for them.

This work is especially relevant to agency owners, operations and account-management leaders, and consultants improving their own client delivery. It also fits service and membership businesses whose customers buy but struggle to get started.

Bring the actual process, including the parts that live in someone's head. We can begin with what your team does today.

Find the holes.
Decide where to start.

Use a discovery session to examine what happens after a customer buys, where the process becomes difficult and how you could improve it.

  1. Bring a recent example.

A delayed kickoff, a customer who went quiet or a handoff that took too much effort gives us somewhere concrete to begin.

  2. Look at the gaps together.

We'll discuss expectations, responsibilities, customer effort and the first progress your customer can see.

  3. Discuss practical improvements.

We'll identify possible changes and where to focus first, including whether further consulting would be useful.

The call is an initial working conversation. A detailed diagnostic or implementation project is scoped separately.

Before you book

Is the discovery session free?

Yes. The 45-minute discovery session is currently free. Paid consulting scope and fees are discussed separately.

Do we need to have a documented process?

No. Bring what you use now: a welcome email, a checklist, a kickoff agenda or a recent customer example. Describing how the work happens is a useful starting point.

Who would deliver the consulting work?

The consulting pathway will connect suitable enquiries with premier partners in the Practitioner Network. We will discuss the proposed practitioner, scope and next steps with you before an engagement begins. The partner lead program is being prepared; the directory will be a future resource.

Can you work with our existing tools?

We begin with the customer experience and how your team delivers it. Your existing tools are part of that discussion. Any software configuration, integrations or migration work would need an agreed scope.

Will the call include a complete onboarding audit?

The discovery session is a focused conversation about your current process and possible improvements. A detailed Onboarding Diagnostic is a separate engagement.

Is this for our business or for learning to consult?
